    How does Azzalure work?

    Azzalure is a brand name for botulinum toxin, the same generic active ingredient used in Botox. Injected into the muscle under your skin, botulinum toxin works by blocking the signals between nerves and muscles, effectively paralysing them. This has the effect of relaxing and smoothing out the kind of wrinkles caused by repeated muscle contraction – so the treatment is especially effective on frown and laughter lines.

    How long do the effects of Azzalure last?

    Generally, between three and six months. Repeated treatment not only softens existing lines and wrinkles, but has the added effect of preventing future ones from forming.

    What are the risks of Azzalure?

    Complications are extremely rare – but as with any medication, it can have side effects. All possible adverse reactions will be fully discussed with you prior to agreeing treatment.

    How long does Juvéderm lip filler last?

    Hyaluronic-acid-based lip fillers like Juvéderm generally last between four and six months before a repeat treatment is required.

    Are there any side effects with Juvéderm lip fillers?

    The most common side effects are usually very minor and may include tenderness, soreness, dryness or swelling. In the vast majority of cases, any side effects disappear within 4-14 days of your treatment. We’ll discuss all possible adverse reactions with you during your consultation.
